Tricia & Jeremy were married at St. Anthony of Padua with the big party {reception} at The Cultural Center {St. Nicholas Church} Our first time at both place. Its always exciting to be at a new place and fall in love with them.The Cultural Center is a place to look at if you are a new Bride and not sure where the party might be.

After the wedding we hit Downtown Grand Rapids for a few and then off to the party.

10.04.08 Alex & John

Alex & John were married earlier this month at the Blythefield Country Club in Belmont. A lot of the guests came to visit America from across the big pond {England}. A smashing good time was had by all. Blythefield always does a great job as the host and this day proved once again to be fab! Alex did a great job on the decorating and planning. The place looked incredible. Amy and I had a great time and we wish you both the best!

Zack & Angela

Here is my brotha from anotha mutha Zack and soon to be sista cause she married this mista Angela. Yesterday the family and I stopped by my dads for a great dinner with homemade everything. Kate and my dad are full blown “people who cook from scratch”. Its great going over for dinner because the whole family gets involved in the dinner. While the family creates dinner, Zack,  Ang and myself wandered around the grounds of the house for some engagement photos. These two are getting married next May up in the North Country.

9.27.08 Jen & Scott

70 degrees and sunny. What a way to start the day. Heading out to Holland on Saturday for Jen and Scotts wedding the lady on the NPR said highs in the mid 70’s and sunny for west and mid michigan. Perfect. The wedding was at Harderwyk Church in Holland. It was great to be back there after 2 years. The light inside this church terrific and photographers who get to shoot there love it.

After a touching and quite funny ceremony {thanks to the paster} we headed out to Holland Beach for some very quick shots before heading back to Grand Rapids for the reception at Cascade Hills Country Club. The place looked amazing! Erin does a great job getting things together over there.

Amy and I had a great time with everyone. The party and families were all great to be with all day. Thanks for making us feel comfortable!

Half the guests went to Wisconsin and the other half went to Michigan. They also played each other Saturday in football. If you turned your head you could see at any time, 3-5 guests checking on the phone the latest score. At Cascade Hills they had a television out during the game! Michigan won.

OMG

Wow its been almost 3 weeks since my last post! Crazy how when your extremly busy days turn to night and we do it all over again. I have much to blog about but not today. Just a quick hello to all of our new readers and to all the new brides who have booked us in the last few weeks. hello!

A promise of more images is here. But next week. These last few weeks have been the busiest ever. Which makes me think I need to hire someone………Anyone with a sales background and extreme photoshop skills can email me and I’ll put you in the running. {This would not be for the near future….we are talking next year here!}

8.16.08 Meg & Andrew

Meg and Andrew tied the knot Saturday at St. Roberts in Ada with the reception at the Cascade Hills Country Club.

Earlier this spring I made the trek down to Chicago to do engagement photos with these two and since then its been a close friendship. Amy and I had the perfect day with these two. The weather was great, the planning was terrific, thanks to Renny and her entourage from Bliss Weddings and Events in Chicago.  A perfect job!

Starting at the JW Marriot for pictures and Meg’s get ready then to the ceremony, back to the JW Marriot for wedding photo and then off to Cascade Hills for the party!

Music by The Root Doctor Band. These guys rocked. If you are looking for some soul and rock and blues and a band to get the people on the floor, give this band a listen!

At the party Meg and Andrew had grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters, backed macaroni and cheese, hot pretzels a popcorn bar an ice cream sundae bar and on the way out the door was cookies and milk! It was a hoot.

Thanks so much you two for having us. Enjoy and I’ll see you in September!
